When it comes to video production, I love to do everything from producing to final edit. My primary video editing tools are Adobe Premiere and After Effects. I am currently working on updating my demo reel to include work from the past few years.

In order to promote a product that had not been developed yet, I created this animation to show the vision for the product. Graphics were created in Illustrator, animated in After Effects and compiled in Premiere Pro.

Project: Pepperidge Farm - Chicken Sliders

The client asked me to produce a short recipe video that had a Superbowl them. However, they did not want to shoot anything related to football so they could re-purpose the video. I came up with this idea to theme it all in post and the clients fell in love with it.

I produced and edited a series of video recipes for Royal Dansk. I conceptualized and oversaw every aspect of video production including budgeting, hiring a crew and directing the shoot.

Project: AMC Promo Video

Awana asked me to do a short animated video to promote their conference on a minimum budget. With the low budget I was able to pull off simple animated stick figures but keep the video interesting and flowing.

Project: Callie Communication System - Careteam
Role: CEO & UX/UI Designer
Callie was a hospital communication platform designed to help patients and their careteam communicate better. I conceived the idea, developed the first prototype, designed the interface and developed it into a business.
Project: Plum Organics - Interactive Web Banner
Role: UX/UI Designer/Developer
Plum Organics wanted an interactive, animated, and expandable banner. I designed the original mock-ups in Photoshop and development was coded in Dreamweaver and Google Web Designer and Google analytics.

At Campbell's I designed and coded many email marketing campaigns including V8, Pepperidge Farms, Swanson, Chunky and more. I designed in Photoshop and coded HTML in Dreamweaver and used Sales Force Marketing Cloud to deploy the email campaigns and analytics.
Project: Chef's Line & V8 Juice Websites

I have conceptualized and designed a number of websites including these for Chef's Line and V8 for Campbells. Designed using Photoshop and Illustrated and implemented into Campbell's Wordpress platform. I also was responsible for much of the Campbell's website imagery and keeping the site up to date.

Project: iCare Navigator
Role: UX/UI Designer and Product Visionary
iCare Navigator contains a number of different functionalities that each had it's own unique design and user experience challenges. Among those challenges is designing a interface for a very wide audience, so simplicity was essential. These mock-ups and prototypes were developed using Adobe XD.
Project: Church & Dwight - Brand Camp 2018
Role: UX/UI Designer & Developer
Church & Dwights puts on an annual global 3-day marketing event. I was hired to design the user experience, interface and develop their event app. for iOS /Android The app allowed users to view their individual schedule, receive push notifications, and collect attendee contact information via QR scanning the attendee's badge. Developed in Lua via CoronaLabs.

While I wasn't directly behind the camera for these shots, my role as producer and art director was to work with my client to understand their needs and goals for their desired shot and to conceptualize the shot. This determined the crew, products and props needed for the day of the shoot.

Bio
Since 2005, I have worked as a visual communicator and user experience designer. I started my career in video production as a producer, editor/animator and photographer. Because I love to learn new tools, I expanded my skill set to include web design & development. I have since created multiple unique websites and mobile apps for a variety of clients. As my career and passions grew, (and my responsibilities turned client facing) I started to understand the incredible importance of the "user experience". This is where my passions truly lay: in orchestrating the ideal user experience both in function and design.
I enjoy working on every aspect of the product life-cycle, and thrive in overseeing the product from conception to delivery. I work closely with clients to understand their pain points, requirements, and goals for their product. When I catch the vision for how the end users life will change when they use our product, the creative juices start to flow. My vision starts to take the form of mock-ups, code, and eventually into a final product to be put into the hands of the user. It is because of my passion for the user experience, and wide variety of skills, that I believe I would be a tremendous asset to any company looking to provide exceptional user experiences for their innovative products.
